Tuesday wreck claims one life, injures chief deputy and wife
DISCUSSING THE EVENTS that led to a two-vehicle ac-cident last night, June 26, on Ranch to Market 1631 are Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Nick Moellering and Deputies Wesley Rheinhardt and Justin Cole. Their supervisor, GCSO Chief Deputy Jim Judd and his wife, Sheri Ann, were injured in a Tahoe and airlifted to San Antonio Medical Center, while the driver of the car, David Charles Meurer, 24, of Fredericksburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. — Standard-Radio Post/Matt Ward
A local man died and Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) Chief Deputy Jim Judd and his wife, Sheri Ann, are hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident last night.
David Charles Meurer, 24, of Fredericksburg was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Ranch to Market 1631 near Hallford Lane by Justice of Peace (Precinct 1) Louis Rech.
