Wreck on US 87 claims life of Fredericksburg woman

A head-on collision between an SUV and 18-wheeler on Friday about 5 miles north of Fredericksburg on US Highway 87 resulted in the death of a 22-year-old woman. Jenica Barnard, of Fredericksburg, was killed when her 2016 Toyota Sequoia was involved in a collision with an 18-wheeler truck at 5:52 p.m.
