Council OK’s 24¢ property tax for 2017

A property tax rate of 24 cents per $100 valuation was approved by Fredericksburg City Council at their meeting last Tuesday. The proposed tax rate is slightly higher than the previous tax rate of 23.13 cents per $100 valuation, but falls under the calculated rollback tax rate of 24.35 per $100 valuation. City
