First baby of new year born

Fredericksburg’s first baby of the new year is also the biggest “new year baby” over the past 10 years. Hudson Scott Mayfield was born at 10:41 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, at Hill Country Memorial, to Ashley and Kyle Mayfield of Brady. Hudson entered the world just shy of 10 pounds, weighing 9 pounds
