State called to investigate Goehmann Lane blazes

Fire twice struck a sprawling residence east of town over the New Year holiday weekend, resulting in total destruction of the house. Firefighters responded to the fires at 4900 Goehmann Lane at 10:26 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, then again at 6:43 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31. No fatalities or injuries were reported. Chief
