For the second time in a row, Fredericksburg High School head volleyball coach Kaci Rittimann has defeated her alma mater.
On Aug. 29, the Billies traveled to Medina Valley High School and beat the Panthers in three sets, 25-19, 25-16 and 25-15.
“I think we played well despite having a slower start,” Rittimann said. “We played consistent throughout the match which is something we have been working on.”
Junior Rose Stuewe led the Billies in kills with 10, followed by senior Aubrey Sultemeier with 9 and senior Landry Moffett with 8.
“Their impact was huge,” Rittimann said. “We want to keep moving the ball around and we need to be successful and in this case, we were.”
Senior Ali Grona had 26 digs and Moffett led the team with three aces.
