Bands to step off Saturday at annual marching festival

Twenty-three bands will be competing in the annual Hill Country Marching Festival on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Fredericksburg High School Stadium. Sponsored by the Fredericksburg Band Boosters, the event gets underway with the first performance at 1 p.m. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 7:15
