FHS softball sweeps first-round series

Strong pitching efforts led the Fredericksburg High School varsity softball team past the Gonzales Apaches. The Billies won a best-of-three game set, 10-0 on Thursday, April 26, and 12-0 on Friday, April 27. The Billies will face Sweeny for area playoffs on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 at Texas
