Fredericksburg High School girls’ track defended its home turf Saturday.
FHS won both the varsity and junior varsity girls’ titles in the A.J. Loth Relays on Saturday, Feb. 16, at FHS Stadium.
Varsity scored 192 points in the meet, and JV earned 196.5.
“The girls’ track program ended the meet by starting our season off right with team titles in both the JV and varsity divisions,” coach Dan Aldrich said. “Despite having many kids still absent, our kids that competed did very well with the mixed meet format and worked well together as a team.”
Next on the schedule is a meet Saturday, Feb. 23, at Canyon Lake High School.
The 3200-meter run and field events start at 9 a.m.
Running events start at noon.
