Christian Job Corps to host benefit barbecue May 5

Christian Job Corps of Gillespie County (CJCGC) will host a drive-thru barbecue fundraiser at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 5. Each plate includes barbecue pork, potato salad, pinto beans and a pecan praline. Advance tickets are $10 and available online at www.CJCGC.com/calendar/bbq
