Judge Stroeher lifts county burn ban

Gillespie County Judge Mark Stroeher has announced that the burn ban for Gillespie County has been lifted. The notice was issued at 1:35 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11. The action to lift the burn ban came after consultation with County Fire Marshal Steve Olfers, who said the chiefs of the rural fire departments
