EAA Young Eagles fly over Hill Country

Flying conditions were “severe clear” as 62 young people soared in the skies over Fredericksburg Saturday, Oct. 9, as part of Young Eagles Day at Gillespie County Airport. Sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1088, the annual event drew a record number of registrants.
