K9 Furex gets nosey in drug bust

A deputy from the Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on Jan. 17 near the intersection of U.S. 290 East and Gellerman Lane. The deputy requested consent to search the vehicle and was denied. The K9 Furex did an open-air sniff and had a positive alert. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia
