Three injured in plane crash near Georgetown
A small plane leaving the Gillespie County Airport crashed into an empty duplex in Georgetown Sunday morning.
According to the Georgetown Fire Department, the plane crashed into a vacant two-story home on the 500 block of Northwood Drive shortly before noon.
The plane crashed less than a mile from the landing strip.
All three passengers, including the pilot, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
