Virginia Mae (Scottie) Grindle, 92, nee Scott, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3.

Mrs. Grindle was born Sept. 28, 1930.

She is survived by a daughter and spouse, Carolyn and Fred Whitten; a sister, Annabel Stein, and brother and spouse, Melvin and Linda Scott.
