Gillespie’s water sage retires
Next June, Paul Tybor will step down as general manager of the Hill Country Underground Water Conservation District.
Tybor graduated with a geology degree from the University of Houston in 1972. After graduation, he worked in the oil and gas industry until the oil price collapsed in 1986.
The Texas legislature formed the Hill Country Underground Water Conservation District in 1987. Just two years later, Tybor became general manager and has been there since.
