KOREAN WAR VETS HONORED
Brig. Gen. Jim Bisson (U.S. Army, ret.), thanks veterans in the audience for their service. One veteran of World War II was in attendance, along with 17 veterans of the Korean War.
Col. Paul Phillips III, M.D. (U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps, ret.) speaks about desegregation in the military and his experience in an all-Black platoon. “I’ve been so honored to work with men and women of all races, all colors, all nationalities, all backgrounds,” Phillips said.
