State rolls back historic preservation funding rule
Fredericksburg City Council met Aug. 1 at the Law Enforcement Center for a legislative update from City Attorney Mick McKamie, who said Fredericksburg will see a significant cut in Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) funding for historic preservation.
The council also approved the allocation of HOT funding to Heritage School, following a review by the city of its application.
