The Fredericksburg High School Battlin’ Billies varsity football team knew that Friday’s matchup against state-ranked Wimberley was going to be a challenge.
Wimberley came to Fredericksburg with an overall record of 18-1 over the past two seasons.
Wimberley’s only loss in the past two years occurred in the Class 4A Division II state championship game against Carthage last year.
