A helping hand for Venezuelan immigrants
Last week, while visiting friends in Chicago, I learned about their efforts to help Venezuelan immigrants. Venezuelan citizens make their way to the United States due to extreme poverty and dire circumstances in their country. When they clear immigration, Texas residents, churches and other organizations help them with clothing and other personal needs.
