Paxton will now face accusers in law court
It’s good for some to have friends in high places. The trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton — the state’s top law enforcement officer — was held and Paxton was acquitted. Though the evidence of his charges was substantial, enough State Senators, including our own Pete Flores, chose to look past it and contribute to enough votes to avoid the two-thirds necessary to convict and remove Paxton from office.
