Heritage volleyball team falls to Christ Academy in TAPPS State Championship
The Heritage High School varsity volleyball team made it to the state finals in Waco for the second season in a row, falling short of capturing the TAPPS Division III state title after losing to Wichita Falls Christ Academy in three sets last Friday, 22-25, 17-25, and 15-25.
“We advanced to the state game and knew Christ Academy was a very strong opponent,” Head Coach Jeska Haggerty said. “We came out fighting and led in the first two games but couldn’t quite finish.”
