A thick thistle threat
Dry conditions prime area for large weed crop
Residents and landowners of Gillespie County can expect an exceptionally large crop of thistles this year, according to Brad Roeder, County Extension Agent at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office for Gillespie County.
“This year is kind of the perfect storm,” Roeder said. “There’s been a drought (and) lots of rain in the fall.”
