Fredericksburg residents might not have to drive to Kerrville to get their fill of waffle fries or spicy chicken sandwiches, as plans have been submitted for a Chick-fil-A restaurant.

The City of Fredericksburg Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved a conditional-use permit and preliminary plat to allow a drive-through for Chick-fil-A restaurant located at the southeast corner of U.S. 87 South and Friendship Lane.
