All members of the Fredericksburg City Council approved a Conditional Land Use permit (CUP) and to operate a drive-through for Chick-fil-A at its Tuesday, Jan. 16 meeting.

The commercially zoned area (C2) at the southeast corner of Friendship Lane and U.S. 87 South can now proceed to creating final plans under the condition that they consider more drought-tolerant plants in their landscape design.
