The Fredericksburg High School boys and girls varsity swim team competed at the 2024 Swimming and Diving State Championship Meet in San Antonio last Friday.

“With twice as many individual and relays qualifying this year compared to last, the swimmers overcame adversity and tough competition to finish both the meet and the year well,” Head Coach James Lorys said.

Maia Fuchs placed second in the girls’ 50-yard freestyle.

George Stenberg took third place in the boys’ 50-yard freestyle.
