A long-running unsolved murder is still receiving call-in tips, said Lt. Terry Weed of the Fredericksburg Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Department. The May 14, 2007 murder and arson fire at the home of 55-year-old Linda Muegge remains unsolved. But the local woman’s death that took place at her Franklin Street home is not a closed case.
