The Luckenbach Texas beer joint, dancehall and general store, tucked away under oak trees and along a shaded creek bed, coined the slogan, “Everybody is somebody in Luckenbach.” On Sunday, May 26, the Luckenbach community inducted longtime employee Virgil Holdman Jr. into its “Hall of Somebodies,” an honor bestowed to only its most beloved characters.
