Opening day of hunting season is coming up quickly and that means Harper Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) will host its annual Fish Fry. This event benefits the department by raising funds to purchase needed equipment. Sponsorships are currently available. For more information contact secretary@harpervfd-ems.com HFVD is the first responder to approximately 505 square miles of rural ranch and farmland. In addition, the HVFD has mutual aid agreements with six other fire departments which more than doubles the coverage area.
