Fredericksburg Camera Club to reunite Jan. 14

Local photography lovers are invited to attend the Fredericksburg Camera Club’s first meeting in several years at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Girl Scout Cabin, 202 West Austin Street.

This meeting will focus on determining organization and rules of the club.

The club is intended to build camaraderie among photography enthusiasts, from beginners to professionals.

Formerly known as Der Fotoklub of Fredericksburg, the club was established by those hoping to share their passion for photography. Activities include field trips, group photo shoots, educational programs and sharing of technical and creative knowledge.

Photographers are encouraged to submit up to three photos for each meeting for discussion and review.

Digital files can be submitted before the meeting by emailing them to David Roberts, dlroberts34@hotmail. com, or they can be brought to the meeting on a thumb drive.

Interested members can follow the club on social media. For more information, contact Roberts at dlroberts34@ hotmail.com, Barbara Shirley at bsbinx@gmail. com or John Williams at john.williams@bakerbotts. com.
