The 2025 Hill District Grandstand Livestock Show began on Friday, Jan. 10 and will run through Saturday, Jan. 18.
The show, taking place across Fredericksburg, Llano, Comfort and Kerrville, features 4-H and FFA members from over 40 counties.
Schedule of Events Wednesday, Jan. 15
6-10 a.m. — Market Goat arrival at the John L. Kuykendall Arena & Event Center, Llano.
7 a.m.-1 p.m. — Hill District Grandstand Radiothon.
9 a.m.-2 p.m. — Arrival of Purebred and Crossbed Breeding Gilts at the Hill Country Youth Event Center, Kerrville.
9 a.m.-2 p.m. — Arrival of Market Steers and Breeding Heifers at Kendall County Youth Agriculture and Equestrian Center, Comfort.
10:30 a.m. — Check-in deadline and weight cards due for Market Goats.
12 p.m. — Market Goat Show at Kuykendall Arena & Event Center, Llano.
3 p.m. — Check-in deadline and weight cards due for Purebred, Crossbred Breeding Gilts, Breeding Heifers and Market Steers. Weight cards due for European Steer Exhibitors.
3:30 p.m. — Classification of Market Steers. (American and British market steer exhibitors will bring weight card to classification.)
Thursday, Jan. 16
8-9 a.m. — Arrival and sift for State Turkey Show at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds.
8 a.m. — Purebred and Crossbred Breeding Gilt Show at the Hill Country Youth Event Center, Kerrville.
8 a.m. — Breeding Heifer Show at Kendall County Youth Agriculture & Equestrian Center, Comfort. Market Steer Show will follow Heifer Show.
10 a.m. — State Turkey Show at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds.
Friday, Jan. 17
9-10 a.m. — Livestock Judging Contest check-in at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds.
10 a.m. — Livestock Judging Contest.
Saturday, Jan. 18
11 a.m. — Buyer checkin begins.
12 p.m. — Buyer lunch. 1 p.m. — The Grandstand Sale at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds.
