Glockenspiel project spokesman Mike Zenner, currently raising funds for the Marktplatz edifice, said, “Imagine a 45-foottall limestone tower on Marktplatz.” Zenner said the Glockenspiel will include 25 bronze bells cast in Belgium, figurines “performing” several times a day and a 2,000-square-foot plaza at its base.

Glockenspiel project donor vision in place by organizers
Organizers and advocates of the Fredericksburg Glockenspiel project, to be constructed on Marktplatz, have outlined details for donors and presented a vision of the town square’s newest attraction.
