Gardeners and cooks looking for different ways to cook and prep green beans, as well as tips for growing them, can register for the “Grow It, Cook It: Green Beans” program hosted by the Gillespie County AgriLife Extension Office.
On Friday, March 21, from noon to 1 p.m., horticulture extension agent Beth McMahon will hold the second program in the 2025 series at the Gillespie County Extension Office, 38 Business Court, Fredericksburg.
Recipe samples and trial green bean variety seeds will be included with the program.

The next program on melons is set for May 2. Cost for each program is $15 and $25 to sign up for both classes.
