Wild ‘German’ cabbage is an underrated vegetable
The name of this vegetable comes from the German kohl (cabbage) and rübe (turnip), but it is neither German nor a turnip. It’s sort of a wild cabbage belonging to the ubiquitous brassica family which includes cabbage, kale, collards, turnips, rutabagas, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower.
